Thomas Grant & Mary

of Milton next Sittingbourne, Kent

It's not known when Thomas Grant married Mary (surname unknown) but it was probably well before 1749.
They had seven children, all baptised in Murston where they must have lived until some time after 1784, before moving to Milton next Sittingbourne. The summary of children is only of those found, there may well be more.

6. Ann Grant chr. 6 May 1759,
7. Jane Grant chr. 30 Mar 1784, m. James Meager 15 Jul 1780, Milton; 2 children

2. Sarah Grant and Thomas Matson had a son, John Grant Matson, b. 22 Apr 1774 at Dover & chr. 4 May 1774 at St Mary the Virgin Dover.

5. Mary Grant and John Smith had 2 known children, John Grant Smith and Susannah Sarah Grant Smith, the latter chr. 4 Oct 1785 at St Andrew's, Holborn, London. John Grant Smith married Anne (date unknown) and had one daughter, Annie Grant Smith, chr. 4 Nov 1824 in Bexley, Kent.

7. Jane Grant married James Meager on 15 Jul 1789 at Milton and they had two known children,

William Matson and Mary

of Ashford, Kent

Nothing is known of the parents except their names. They had eight children, all except those shown, born in Ashford.

6. Robert Matson chr. 18 Aug 1782 in Borden, Kent, m. Elizabeth, 7 children
7. Ann Matson chr. 28 Oct 1787
8. Barbara Matson chr. 23 Dec 1789

3, Prudence Matson and Thomas March were married on 1 Jan 1798 at SS Peter & Paul, Milton by Gravesend, Kent. They had 3 children:

Mary Prudence March chr. 7 Apr 1799 at St Paul's, Deptford.
George Thomas March b. 14 Feb 1801, Rye, Sussex; chr. 27 May 1807, Rye.
John March b. abt 1802

The two boys were the ones involved in the case in Chancery.

6. Robert Matson married Elizabeth about whom nothing is known. They had seven children, all baptised in Borden, Kent:
